Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Intern for Summer 2027 across Everett, WA; Woodinville, WA; or Boise, ID.

You will support land development projects alongside civil engineers and landscape architects to gain hands-on experience through mentorship and real-world assignments. Responsibilities include assisting with site design, grading and drainage, utilities, stormwater, construction documents, and permitting efforts while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Assist with planning and design of land development projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Support the preparation of site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and construction plans.
• Develop and update drawings and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and assist with project documentation, cost estimates, and permitting efforts.

The Land Development Business Unit is seeking Interns to join our Civil Engineering team for Summer 2027 in the following locations: Everett, WA, Woodinville, WA, or Boise, ID.

The successful intern candidate will support land development projects alongside civil engineers and landscape architects. Responsibilities may include assisting with site design, grading and drainage, utilities, stormwater management, construction documents, engineering calculations, permitting, and project coordination. Interns will gain hands-on experience through mentorship and real-world project work while contributing to multidisciplinary project teams.

What You'll Do
