Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. invites international students to join our Supply Chain Operations internship in Alabama.

You will participate in process improvements, KPI monitoring, and learn inbound/outbound flows across our production sites in Tuscaloosa County and Bibb County. You will gain hands-on experience with shop-floor systems, analytics, and cross-functional teamwork, while benefiting from visa support, housing stipend, and an hourly rate of $18.

Qualifications

• Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met to qualify for position.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related area; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Available for minimum 6 months; currently enrolled in university or gap year between bachelor's and master's; studies outside the USA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Process Improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale.
• Enhance Shop-Floor Management Digital System to monitor and populate KPIs.
• Learn 3 Supply Chain Operations processes in Inbound and Outbound.
• Conduct analytic evaluation of current and future procedures.
• Layout optimization and KPI preparation for weekly/monthly reports.
• Support daily startup meetings and pre-auditing of inbound/outbound areas.
• Planning and conducting performance tests in production and logistics areas.

Qualifications
