Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama offers an Internship in Supply Chain Operations for international students.

You will engage in inbound and outbound processes, KPI tracking, and improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting focused on luxury vehicles. The role provides visa cost coverage and a $700 monthly housing stipend. The position starts March 2027 as a paid internship at an hourly rate of $18, with potential exposure to multiple SCM processes and hands-on shop-floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• One process improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale.
• Enhance shop-floor management digital system to monitor and populate KPI's.
• Learn 3 supply chain processes in inbound and outbound.
• Analytical evaluation of current and future procedures.
• Layout optimization.
• Daily start-up meeting and pre-auditing inbound/outbound areas.
• Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain KPI reports.
• Plan and conduct performance tests in production and logistics.
• Track open topics in focus group and safety group meetings.
• Update training standard methods and procedures.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education

Bachelor’s degree inSupply Chain Management or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
