Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is seeking student interns for Ramp Up Logistics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management. This paid internship offers an hourly rate of $18 and includes visa cost coverage and a $700 housing bonus.

Eligible candidates must be currently enrolled and available for at least six months. Preferred start date is March 2027. Candidates should have SAP experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a background in supply chain.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master’s degree
• Minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 6 months
• Studies outside of the U.S.A (not accepting applications from students studying in the U.S.A)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross functional workshops and manage BVAs within START, track late change requests, coordinate with MRPs and suppliers for documentation confirmations
• Develop and improve a KPI dashboard for ramp up logistics KPIs
• Provide SAP support for MRPs and assist project coordinators on build-up projects
• Maintain dashboard links and KPIs

Essential Functions:

• BR167 MOPF2 Project Management Support:

  Facilitate cross functional workshops // maintain BVAs within START // track late change requests // coordinate with MRPs and suppliers for documentation confirmations

• Automation and Digitalization Initiative:

  Help further develop and improve a KPI dashboard for ramp up logistics KPIs that provides overviews of how the group is performing on the ramp up trials

Other Regular Daily Tasks:

• SAP support for MRPs
• Support Project Coordinators on projects relating to the build up of new vehicles overseas as well as here in our pilot line and on our mainline
• Maintain dashboard links/KPIs

Qualifikationen

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:

Student in: Ramp Up Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

• Supply Chain experience
• SAP experience
• Strong Excel experience
• Strong Power Point skills
