Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. invites students to join our Alabama facilities as paid interns, contributing to the production of luxury SUVs and EVs. You will coordinate with departments, prepare trials, document results, analyze root causes, and support improvements.

The internship pays $18/hour, covers visa costs, and includes a $700 monthly housing stipend, with a March 2027 start and a minimum six-month commitment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate with different departments (e.g., Supplier Quality, Process Engineering, VOCA, Testing, Logistics).
• Independently prepare and conduct trials, including detailed documentation of results.
• Analyze root causes for issues affecting problems in the field.
• Support on short-term countermeasures on the production line.
• Assist in the development of long-term countermeasures.
• Support for reporting and meetings.

Qualifikationen

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:

Student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:

• Fluent in English(oral/written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and especially PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to think critically and apply logical reasoning to problem-solving
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage different tasks and prioritize effectively
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environment (Mercedes-Benz)

• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor'sand Master’s degree
• Studies outside of the U.S.A
