Job summary

Societe Generale is seeking a risk analyst in New York to provide analytical support for risk managers, build financial models, and prepare risk reports and presentations. The role requires strong quantitative skills, VBA or scripting ability, and expertise in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python.

The candidate will analyze risk across traded products, assess regulatory and economic capital considerations for market risk, and contribute to ongoing risk assessment initiatives within a disciplined

• Very good knowledge of Credit and Structured products including Credit Derivatives (CDS), Financing products (Repos, Swaps) and Fixed Income products (Corporate, RMBS, CLOs, CMBS etc), financial modeling, risk analysis and models (VaR, Stress test) and valuation models of financial products

Technical Skills

COMPENSATION

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
