Refuah Health Center in Spring Valley, NY is seeking an Internal Medicine physician for full-time, regular employment. You will provide general medical care, evaluate health status, educate patients on prevention, and document history and treatments.

Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine with a NYS license and DEA registration. We offer a $10K sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, loan repayment options, malpractice coverage, retirement plan, CME support, generous PTO

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Valid NYS Medical License or ability to obtain one.
• Active NYS DEA Registration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Hours: Daytime, one evening per week, Fridays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provides general medical care to health center patients.
• Evaluates patient health status and initiates therapeutic and preventive measures.
• Educates patients on preventative care.
• Documents patients' history and treatments.
• Performs medical triage.
• Stabilizes emergencies prior to hospitalization.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and follows up.
• Refers patients to specialists when appropriate.

Internal Medicine Physician Responsibilities:
