Job summary

RBC is seeking a Research Associate to perform fundamental analysis of Internet sector companies. You will develop detailed financial models, coordinate research reports and databases, and support analysts while building sector expertise.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field and FINRA licenses. You will interact with internal and external clients and work in a fast-paced trading floor environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or similar qualification with a focus on Business, Mathematics or other quantitative fields.
• Excellent writing and communications skills.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and data sourcing from the internet/publications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with strong organization and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and model company financials with a focus on the Internet sector.
• Coordinate and maintain research reports, presentations and databases.
• Provide research support to analysts as required.
• Build sector expertise and respond to client inquiries.
• Perform proprietary channel check work and identify operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with Firm Policies and escalate risks promptly.
