Swickard Auto Group's Lexus of Thousand Oaks is seeking an Internet Sales Consultant who turns online inquiries into booked appointments and closed deals. You will respond to leads by phone, email, and text, build rapport, and present vehicle features and benefits.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year automotive sales experience, strong digital skills, and CRM discipline, and lives within 30 miles of Thousand Oaks.

• 1+ year automotive sales experience in a franchised dealership is required.
• Strong digital game with ability to convert inquiries into appointments and sales.
• Disciplined CRM usage and prompt follow-up.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Respond promptly to internet leads via phone, email, and text.
• Build rapport and assess customer needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Answer questions about vehicle specifications, performance, and technology.
• Present and demonstrate vehicles, including features and benefits.
• Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and financing options.
• Guide guests through the sales process from initial contact to final purchase.
• Finalize sales agreements and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain CRM records and stay updated on inventory and market trends.
• Support dealership events and ensure vehicles are sale‑ready.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of automotive sales experience in a franchised dealership -- required
• Internet sales, BDC, or e-commerce sales experience strongly preferred -- candidates who have worked leads from inquiry to appointment to close will be at a significant advantage
• Must live within 30 miles of Thousand Oaks, CA -- required
• Lexus or luxury brand experience a strong plus
• CRM discipline -- you don't let leads go cold and you don't skip follow‑up steps
• Fast, clear, and professional written communicator -- your emails and texts represent the Lexus brand
• Comfortable managing high lead volume simultaneously without losing the personal touch that earns appointments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A hospitality mindset -- even behind a screen, every guest interaction reflects the standard of the brand
