Job summary

The Home Depot seeks an attorney at manager level to join the International & Supply Chain group, providing regulatory and compliance counsel across import/export operations. The role supports the Associate General Counsel on regulatory, transactional, and supply chain matters.

Preferred candidates have 7–12 years in international trade regulatory work, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and experience managing outside counsel and complex investigations.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with bar admission and practice experience.
• 7–12 years of international trade regulatory experience in law firm or corporate setting.
• Strong customs and trade compliance knowledge; supply chain mapping and due diligence.
• Experience advising across import/export operations and regulatory audits.
• Ability to manage multiple external counsel and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Prosecutes and defends business and real estate claims and lawsuits involving Home Depot.
• Collaborates with outside counsel on claims, lawsuits, and regulatory matters.
• Advises departments and managers on a diverse range of legal issues.
• Supervises legal research and ensures timely completion of pending matters.
• Drafts and files annual disclosure documents with government agencies when required.
• Manages budgets related to legal work and external counsel.
