Job summary

Nikkiso ACD, LLC is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to oversee the U.S. export and import compliance program and support global logistics operations from its Santa Ana, CA location.

The role requires strong knowledge of EAR/ITAR/OFAC, hands-on experience with classification (ECCN, Schedule B), HTS, and working across Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance to minimize regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in export compliance, ideally with a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC and U.S. import regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage ACD's U.S. Export Compliance Program, including control points that meet compliance requirements while minimizing impact on operations.
• Ensure all exports comply with U.S. export laws and regulations across the Group.
• Maintain export classification data (ECCNs, Schedule B) and submit classification requests to BIS as needed.
• Oversee import compliance activities including HTS classification and origin determinations.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure import/export regulatory compliance.
• Supervise Import/Export team with direction, training, and performance management.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, brokers, and other service providers.
• Review letters of credit to ensure terms align with documents for payment.
