Job summary

OpusLex Partners, on behalf of a prestigious Am Law 200 firm, seeks a mid-level International Trade Associate with 3–5 years in U.S. customs and import compliance.

You will work on tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, and customs enforcement matters. This role offers meaningful autonomy, hands-on mentorship, and a flexible hybrid schedule, with compensation ranging from $225,000 to $300,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in international trade law or practice.
• Specialization in U.S. customs and import compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work on tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, and customs compliance/enforcement.
• Handle export controls, economic sanctions, CFIUS, and other trade/national security matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to deliver high-quality matter work.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.

Compensation:

The expected compensation range for this position is $225,000-$300,000 depending on experience + bonus.
