Job summary

Current, a fast-growing accounting platform, is seeking an International Tax Partner through its RRBB firm in Somerset, NJ. The role leads international tax engagements, guides complex compliance and planning, and drives practice growth while mentoring senior professionals.

Qualified candidates have 12+ years of international tax experience, a CPA license, and a track record of leadership. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunity to influence cross-border tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive tax experience with significant international tax responsibility.
• Active CPA license in good standing or ability to obtain/maintain per firm policy.
• Master’s degree in Taxation or JD/LLM (Tax) preferred.
• Experience building or scaling an international tax practice preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex international tax engagements and advise senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior client relationships for international tax engagements; define objectives, scope, and success measures.
• Direct delivery and technical oversight of complex international tax compliance and reporting to ensure accurate filings and workpapers.
• Provide technical leadership on international tax planning and documentation consistent with firm standards.
• Establish engagement risk management and ensure issues are identified and resolved.
• Lead and approve international tax deliverables, including memos and modeling outputs.
• Drive business development for international tax services and collaborate across service lines.
• Develop and retain talent by coaching Directors/Senior Managers/Managers and supporting performance management.
