Job summary

RRBB in Somerset, NJ seeks an International Tax Partner to lead cross-border tax engagements for a portfolio of U.S. and international clients.

You will provide senior technical leadership, oversee compliance and planning (inbound/outbound structuring, treaty analysis), and drive practice growth through client relationships and referrals. The role emphasizes talent development, engagement economics, and adherence to firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or closely related field.
• 12+ years of international tax experience with significant responsibility.
• Active CPA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior client relationships for international tax engagements; define objectives, scope, and success measures.
• Direct delivery of complex international tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Provide leadership on international tax planning (inbound/outbound structuring, cross-border transactions, treaty positions).
• Establish engagement risk management and ensure issues are identified and resolved.
• Lead and approve tax deliverables, including memos and client-ready recommendations.
• Drive business development for international tax services and cross-sell with other lines.
• Develop and retain talent by coaching Directors/Senior Managers/Managers.
• Manage engagement economics, resourcing, and profitability targets.
