Job summary

The University of South Alabama’s Office of International Admissions is seeking a Coordinator, International Student Services. The role focuses on planning international events, coordinating arrival logistics, and delivering effective orientation programs for new international students on the Mobile campus.

Responsibilities include leading orientation activities, collaborating with campus partners, and supporting students through the application process and adjustment to campus life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two years of related professional experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience as an intern, ambassador or student worker in an international program is preferred.
• Experience in using social media applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning and execution of international-related activities and events.
• Organizes arrival and pickup of all new international students each semester.
• Coordinates international new student orientation and pre-arrival Canvas course development.
• Develops orientation schedules and communicates with campus departments.
• Recruits, trains and supervises Student Orientation Leaders.
