FedEx Freight in Memphis, TN, seeks an experienced International Freight Specialist to ensure efficient movement and clearance of shipments while training International Reps and updating procedures. You will serve as the carrier expert in regulatory compliance and coordinate with brokers to resolve paperwork and delays.
The role requires at least two years in international transportation or customs clearance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel.
Starting Rate of Pay: $25.47/ hour
This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.
Ensure the efficient movement and clearance of Import/Export freight in compliance with established regulations and procedures for international freight. Provide training and technical expertise to International Reps. Updates operating procedures and takes proactive measures to reduce potential liability. Work with custom brokers as the “carrier” expert in international transportation.
