  • Ability to learn and navigate operational systems and visibility platforms.
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal business partners.
  • Lead coordination with customer suppliers and business groups to ensure minimal disruption to export cargo flow.
  • Lead weekly virtual meetings with customers and key vendors, including ocean carriers, drayage providers, and shipping sites.
  • Analyze operational data and information from internal systems and external sources, providing actionable observations and recommendations—not just numbers.
  • Participate in and lead process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and improve business processes.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support to assist with problem-solving and operational challenges.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and graphics for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to add value, improve processes, and introduce new ways of thinking.
  • Lead implementation efforts and provide follow-up support for newly onboarded sites and business units.
  • Partner with clients to ensure import/export regulatory compliance.
  • Support transition management, productivity assessments, pricing and costing decisions, and other operational initiatives.

Ocean Export Operations & Business Analysis

Contract: 8–10 months with potential for permanent placement

We are seeking an experienced operations and business analyst professional to support Ocean Export Services through process improvement, operational analysis, efficiency initiatives, and business development. This role will analyze data and business processes to identify opportunities for improved productivity, cost savings, customer service, and overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively across teams.
