Job summary

ELITE Solar is seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to manage domestic transportation and support international logistics operations. You will coordinate fleets and agents to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries, and work with suppliers to optimize domestic transport and quotes.

You will monitor milestones, maintain documentation, and stay current with customs and import/export regulations to mitigate risk and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating domestic and international logistics for a tech/manufacturing company.
• Familiarity with customs, import/export regulations, and risk assessment.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and report logistics metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic transportation related to international logistics; coordinate fleets and agents to arrange on-time pickup and delivery.
• Handle base domestic logistics transportation, including selection and price comparison of qualified suppliers.
• Track and monitor key logistics milestones through final delivery; maintain logs and file documentation in a timely manner.
• Regularly collect, interpret, and report on the latest customs, commerce, and transportation regulations; assess import/export risks to ensure compliant operations.
• Handle base import/export clearance: review requirements, prepare and verify clearance documents and import permits, follow up on clearance status, and resolve declaration exceptions.
• Manage company customs matters, including application, maintenance, and cancellation of import/export qualifications, bonds, licenses, certificates of origin, duty-exemption letters, and approvals.
• Cross-functional support: Verify logistics and customs fees, initiate invoicing and payment requests, and follow through to payment completion.
• Support Finance on audits and foreign exchange management.
