Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a mid-level International Trade Compliance (ITC) professional to serve in a dual Export Control Coordinator capacity within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area supporting the Sikorsky line of business. This role combines export licensing and compliance oversight, acting as a primary point of contact for assigned programs. The ECC will collaborate with program teams, operations, legal, and functional stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient international trade operations under ITAR, EAR, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and related regulatory frameworks. The individual will also support digital transformation initiatives, process improvements, and compliance risk management across RMS. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Plans and coordinates export and import authorization strategy to support international business pursuits to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures. Develops and executes plan to obtain various types of export/import authorizations, including licenses, agreements, permits and applicable exemptions or exceptions for export or import of goods, technology, information and services. Maintains oversight and manages compliance with export/import authorizations. Researches and resolves customer, subcontractor, and supplier trade compliance requirements or concerns. Interfaces with internal and external import/export organizations worldwide. Negotiates with foreign customers to develop handling agreements. Establishes and maintains relationships with government licensing authorities and technology release decision makers to ensure that the company's position is conveyed and understood. Supports review of jurisdiction and classification of hardware, software and technical data. Establishes requirements and provides guidance for license application development. Monitors and provides support for license applications. Develops and conducts training and manages licensing and compliance actions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with, understanding, and applying U.S. export laws and regulations, specifically the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements as they relate to international trade programs, products, processes, and activities
  • In-depth knowledge of the ITAR and EAR and CBP requirements
  • Knowledge of export and import licensing processes
  • Ability to research, interpret, and apply complex government regulations, including ITAR, EAR, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and CBP requirements
  • Ability to develop strategies to mitigate risk and enforce compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions
Desired Skills
  • Ability to be considered for an Empowered Official role
  • Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts and detailed knowledge of ITAR exemptions / EAR exceptions
  • Working knowledge of INCOTERMS
  • Familiarity with government contracting practices
  • Experience with SAP/GTS or similar trade compliance management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor personnel responsible for international trade compliance activities
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
