Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks an International Inbound Operations Coordinator to support inbound transportation for both domestic and international shipments. The role liaises with Ross teams, customs brokers and freight partners to ensure on‑time delivery and regulatory compliance.

The coordinator will track shipments, manage documentation, and assist planners with Ross Direct and POE shipments while handling multiple projects and communications across departments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of international transportation experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of international documents, Incoterms, customs regulations and tariffs.
• Transportation background within the retail industry.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Access; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to inbound transportation activities: entering, tendering, scheduling, tracking and tracing.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to international freight movements; support planners.
• Communicate tracking, documentation issues and bookings with customs, forwarders, vendors and carriers.
• Assist with projects and duties assigned by International Supervisors or Manager.
