ICF is seeking an Energy Industry Specialist (International) to coordinate programs, projects, events, and activities focused on an International Energy Security program within the U.S. Department of Energy.

The role involves research, fact finding, and analysis of energy sector policies and infrastructure, plus extensive stakeholder engagement with senior staff across federal agencies, industry officials, and associations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in energy policy, public policy, government, communications, economics, business, or a related field and 4+ years of experience in providing administrative or program support.
  • OR Master’s degree in energy policy, public policy, government, communications, economics, business, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in providing administrative or program support.
  • US Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities between key stakeholders including DOE, other federal agencies, and the electric and oil & gas sector industry.
  • Support technical writing and communications, including editing, reviewing, and formatting documents, and creating presentations and briefings.
  • Manage logistics for meetings, including taking effective meeting minutes, tracking milestones and priorities, and following up on meeting action items.
