  • 1+ years’ experience in Shipping is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documentation, including Customs Invoices.

International Shipping Coordinator

As an International Shipping Coordinator, under general supervision, you will perform a variety of clerical duties relating to typing, filing, and checking freight bills for accuracy. You will contact carriers by phone or mail for clarification or changes in schedules and/or pricing, trace shipments, assist in routing and method of shipping, handle special projects as assigned, and process shipments to customers while troubleshooting various issues as they arise.

As an International Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Additional duties as assigned

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience in Shipping

The hourly pay scale for this position is $21/HR-$35/HR USD if employed in New York.

You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level, and specific requirements of each of these plans.

This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here, and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
