Job summary

The University of Derby is seeking a proactive International Compliance Advisor to join the Registry on a fixed-term basis. You will monitor attendance and engagement data for students issued a CAS, reconcile records, and escalate high-risk cases in line with policy.

You will work across Registry and academic teams, prepare case summaries, meet students as needed, and help strengthen attendance monitoring controls during this period of change, ensuring timely student support and compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or compliance is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across teams with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Monitor attendance and engagement data for students with CAS.
• Reconcile electronic and manual records to ensure accuracy.
• Identify students requiring intervention and document follow-up actions.
• Meet with students as needed and support re-engagement activities.
• Prepare case summaries and evidence packs for compliance reviews.
• Escalate higher-risk cases in line with university policy and procedures.
