  • Plans and executes programming for the international community.
  • Communicates with international students and scholars, from pre-arrival to post-graduation.
  • Maintains relationships with partners, relevant consulates, and foreign governing bodies.
  • Coordinates with various on-campus departments and student service centers to provide holistic international student support.
  • The IESO requests a cover letter and resume demonstrating the candidate’s experience and desire to serve the international community at the University of Mississippi.
Job Summary

The International Advisor oversees the programmatic, operational, and fiscal management of international community support for specific populations of students and scholars and in support of the International Engagement and Success Office (IESO) as a whole, in conjunction with campus partners, faculty and staff, and the manager of the IESO. Attention to detail, fiscal responsibility, enthusiasm, cultural competence, and empathy are necessary skills and competencies for the position.
