Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks an New Account Operations Analyst (Broker-Dealer) to support onboarding and servicing international clients in Miami, on-site. You will manage the full lifecycle of account processes—opening, maintenance, and review—ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of international account structures, operational workflows, and industry best practices, plus the ability to guide teammates and escalate issues while collaborating

Qualifications

• 2+ years in roles related to account operations or financial services.
• Knowledge of international regulatory requirements and AML/KYC.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work across departments with international clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup and maintenance of international client accounts, including individuals, corporate entities, and institutional clients.
• Ensure that documentation requirements are met for each account type in line with jurisdictional rules and internal policies.
• Monitor and update client records to reflect changes in contact information, ownership, or authorized parties.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Tax, and AML teams to validate data and confirm adherence to firm and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a mentor and resource to colleagues by providing informal training and sharing expertise.
• Review and analyze reports related to new and existing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive matters, identifying solutions for complex issues.
• Address branch inquiries and provide timely resolutions while maintaining a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
