Job summary

Metriport is hiring a Software Engineer focusing on Internal Tools to automate and integrate our internal workflows. You’ll own the tooling that keeps the company moving fast, building secure, scalable solutions that surface new workflows for Eng, Ops, and business teams.

You’ll design end-to-end automations, improve developer experience, assess new tools with Security, and help reporting across data sources. A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset is essential in our SF-centric team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering, automation, or internal tools role—startup versatility preferred.
• TypeScript proficiency: writing clean, maintainable TS without hand-holding.
• React proficiency: build and extend UI components for internal tools.
• Integration experience: REST, webhooks, OAuth, and related tech knowledge.
• Security-aware mindset: handling sensitive data, secrets management, scoped permissions.

Responsibilities

• Automating cross-functional processes and building end-to-end automations.
• Improve developer experience and onboarding, streamline CICD, reduce time-to-productive.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, assess security posture with Security team.
• Automating recurring reports from data sources for accurate monthly data.
• Participate in daily standups and align team goals.
