ARISE is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and critical care (AVECCC) and specialty hospital in Queen Creek, AZ. You will join a team of doctors to deliver high‑quality medical and nursing care to companion animals.

The Internal Medicine Technician role supports the Internal Medicine department with IV placement, anesthesia monitoring, diagnostic testing, client communication and precise recordkeeping. A clear path from Technician Assistant to senior roles is available.

Qualifications

• Excellent veterinary nursing and technical skills.
• Strong communication and client education abilities.
• Proficiency with veterinary software and recordkeeping.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy emergency department.
• Solid understanding of emergency veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Proficient IV catheter placement and use of IV pumps.
• Assist veterinarians during exams and surgeries; monitor anesthesia.
• Perform in-hospital lab testing and report results to veterinarians.
• Maintain medical records and provide client education.
• Ensure safety and quality nursing care for hospitalized patients.
