Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Framingham, MA is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Veterinary Technician for our Internal Medicine team. The role requires confident anesthesia skills and offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Schedule: Weekdays, 3x12 hour shifts, occasional on-call expectations. Pay: $24.25 - $49.00 / hour, with compensation dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Calculate all medical math.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway). Clean and maintain equipment following procedure.
• Discharge IM patients and provide basic client education such as insulin injections, SQ fluids, and feeding tube demonstrations.
• Other additional job duties as assigned.
