Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Specialty/internal medicine experience strongly preferred.
• LVT certification prioritized.
• Strong knowledge of advanced veterinary nursing and patient care.
• Experience with restraint, imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia and lab procedures.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with veterinarians to manage patients with chronic and complex conditions.
• Support diagnostic workups and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist with ultrasound, CT scans, and endoscopy.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures and monitor during procedures.
• Provide nursing care and monitor patients closely.
• Educate clients about medications and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate changes to the team.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to maintain efficient workflows.
