BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tukwila, WA, is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join the Internal Medicine department. The role includes working with internists, managing anesthesia, phlebotomy, and ultrasound/endoscopy support; strong client communication is essential.

Salary ranges from $26.75–$51.32 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on for qualified candidates. Weekend differential pay applies; schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-6pm with one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills mandatory.
• Ability to assist with ultrasound, endoscopy, and radiology procedures.
• Excellent client communication and ability to educate clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up CRI and monitor anesthesia.
• Perform medical math calculations (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.).
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Prepare for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures and maintain equipment.
• Discharge patients and provide client education (insulin, fluids, feeding tubes).
• Additional duties as assigned.
