Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; healthcare coursework preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a Medical Office/Registration/Billing setting with insurance payers and EHR.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email; familiarity with referral software and health plan sites; teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals, testing and appointment scheduling across providers and departments.
• Communicate status and processes to patients, peers and providers.
• Support preauthorization requirements and documentation across the care team.
