Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers surgical debridement and bedside procedures with full training provided and strong clinical autonomy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Management of underlying conditions that affect wound healing.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in SNFs and post-acute settings.
