Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Orange County, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call lifestyle with weekday schedules and the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment.

Physicians will perform debridement and manage chronic wounds while applying your internal medicine expertise to improve patient outcomes. The position provides competitive salary of $250,000–$500,000 per year for full-time, with the

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Unrestricted or clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
Open background; welcomes Internal Medicine physicians and hospitalists, as well as Family Medicine physicians and surgeons; wound care training provided.

Responsabilités

Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
Management of the underlying conditions that affect wound healing.
Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, where you follow patients through healing.
