Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Eagle, ID, is seeking an Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) to join an established multi-specialty group. The role offers 34 patient contact hours weekly with options for a 4- or 5-day schedule and a shared call of about 1:50.

The physician will work with a geriatrics team to manage complex cases and will be based at the Eagle Health Plaza with onsite pharmacy, lab and imaging, contributing to a broad family-oriented care network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completed internal medicine residency required.
• Idaho medical license, Idaho Board of Pharmacy registration, and DEA credentials required.
• Board certification or certifiable within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care with geriatrics team involvement.
• Share practice call schedule (approximately 1:50).
• Work at Saint Alphonsus Eagle Health Plaza with access to onsite pharmacy, lab and imaging.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 650+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join an established group of clinicians. This is a full time role with a schedule of34 patient contact hours, with an option for 4 or 5 day work week. The call requirement is practice call shared with other eligible providers (Appx 1:50).

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group serves community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment in the Eagle area. The Internal Medicine physician will work in conjunction with a geriatrics team to support patients with complex healthcare needs. The Internal Medicine practice is in the Saint Alphonsus Eagle Health Plaza, with onsite pharmacy, lab and medical imaging.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Successful completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program;
• Ability to obtain: Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (controlled substances), privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center;
• Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
