Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Successful completion of an internal medicine residency
• Ability to obtain Idaho medical license and DEA registration
• Board certification required or within 3 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care within the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Eagle, Idaho, including coordination with geriatrics for complex cases
• Collaborate with specialists, pharmacists, and imaging/lab teams to support patient care and wellbeing

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group serves community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment in the Eagle area. The Internal Medicine physician will work in conjunction with a geriatrics team to support patients with complex healthcare needs. The Internal Medicine practice is in the Saint Alphonsus Eagle Health Plaza, with onsite pharmacy, lab, and medical imaging.

As part of the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, patient have access to comprehensive healthcare services offered for the whole family, most of our Ada County and Canyon County locations offering a multitude of services in convenient locations including: Urgent Care, Family medicine, Internal Medicine & Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Occupational Medicine, Diabetes Care & Education, Sleep Medicine, Orthopedics, Heart Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and onsite Lab, X-ray and Pharmacy.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Successful completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program;
• Ability to obtain: Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (controlled substances), privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center;
• Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
