Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) in Eagle, Idaho is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join a 650+ provider multi-specialty group. This full-time role offers 34 patient contact hours with an option for a 4 or 5-day workweek and a call schedule of roughly 1:50.

The physician will work with a geriatrics team to support patients with complex health needs and will be based at the Eagle Health Plaza with onsite pharmacy, lab, and imaging.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program.
• Ability to obtain Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA, privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
• Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine care as part of a physician-led multi-specialty group.
• Support patients with complex healthcare needs in coordination with a geriatrics team.
• Participate in a schedule with 34 patient contact hours and an option for 4 or 5 days per week.
• Share practice call with other providers (approximately 1:50).

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 650+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join an established group of clinicians. This is a full time role with a schedule of34 patient contact hours, with an option for 4 or 5 day work week. The call requirement is practice call shared with other eligible providers (Appx 1:50).

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group serves community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment in the Eagle area. The Internal Medicine physician will work in conjunction with a geriatrics team to support patients with complex healthcare needs. The Internal Medicine practice is in the Saint Alphonsus Eagle Health Plaza, with onsite pharmacy, lab and medical imaging.

Requirements:
