Job summary

Elios Healthcare in Framingham, MA, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Internal Medicine practice, working with one physician and two NPs. Flexible hours with part-time or full-time options; must be available on Fridays.

New graduates welcome. You will provide direct patient care, perform histories and exams, order tests, and collaborate with the supervising physician on complex cases.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct and document medical histories, physical exams, and patient assessments
• Order diagnostic tests and consults per established guidelines
• Collaborate with supervising physician on complex cases as needed
• Develop and implement health maintenance and disease prevention plans, including patient education
• Triage and manage patient phone calls with appropriate documentation
• Prescribe medications within scope and in collaboration with supervising physician
• Stay current through professional development, continuing education, and participation in meetings
• Follow billing, HIPAA, and EMR documentation protocols
• Expected to provide 6.5 hours of bookable patient care in a full 8-hour workday
