Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative healthcare team in Sunnyvale, CA. The role offers a daytime schedule with flexibility for 3- or 4-day weeks, 32 hours over four days or 24 hours over three days, and no Friday hours.

You’ll perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnose and treat, order tests, provide counseling, and coordinate referrals. Strong clinical skills and independence with teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice.
• Current national certification as an NP or PA.
• Current BLS certification.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority, as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care within the provider’s scope of practice
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
• Assess, diagnose, and develop appropriate treatment and care plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies as appropriate
• Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients
• Identify conditions requiring physician or specialty consultation and coordinate appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation within the electronic medical record
• Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative healthcare team. This position offers a highly desirable daytime schedule with flexibility for either a 3- or 4-day workweek.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

32 hours per week

Flexibility to consider a 3-day-per-week schedule (24 hours) if preferred

No Friday hours

What You’ll Do
