Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine per job requirements.
• State medical license required (NM) with DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration.
• Excellent collaboration with nurses, MAs, care managers, behavioral health clinicians and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and labs.
• Prescribe treatments and medications and provide non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Document patient encounters and manage the provider/patient relationship.
