Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join an established practice. The role offers a competitive salary with relocation allowance and CME support.

You will care for patients in an outpatient setting, lead a care team, and participate in system-wide health management initiatives. Fully paid malpractice and EPIC EMR support are provided.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Experience providing outpatient primary care is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests (x-ray and labs).
• Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately.
• Participate in recruitment and replacement of other providers.
