Job summary

WellMed Medical Group in San Antonio's Medical Center is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our clinic. This role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered medicine within a value-based care model that prioritizes outcomes over volume.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credential required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).

Physicians typically see 14 to 16 patients per day, allowing for more meaningful patient interactions and a focus on whole-person care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to address each patient’s physical, behavioral, and social health needs.
