Primary Care Physician – WellMed | Harlingen, TX

WellMed Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our Central Park clinic in Harlingen, Texas. This is an opportunity to practice in a value-based care setting where you can focus on building strong patient relationships while delivering high-quality, outcomes-driven care.

In this role, you will care for a primarily senior patient population in an outpatient setting designed to support thoughtful, patient-centered medicine. Physicians typically see 15 to 16 patients per day, allowing for meaningful time with each individual and a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management.

You’ll be supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team that includes advanced practice clinicians, nursing staff, case managers, and administrative support. This structure allows you to stay focused on patient care while benefiting from shared expertise and coordinated resources.

This position also offers the opportunity to work closely with a network of primary care physicians, hospitalists, and specialists, ensuring continuity of care across the patient journey.
