Job summary

Ascension is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our Indianapolis-based primary care team in a full-time, employed capacity within a respected health system. You will lead longitudinal care for a diverse adult population, focusing on complex and chronic conditions.

Join a busy practice with strong referral networks, onsite labs, and a collaborative culture. Eligible for state licensure and DEA; weekday call structure shared, weekend rotation integrated with the group.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Indiana medical license or eligibility prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead longitudinal care for adult patients in outpatient setting.
• Provide comprehensive medical services with safety and quality focus.
• Collaborate with a strong referral network within Ascension.
• Participate in weekday/weekend call structure as described.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Lead longitudinal care for a diverse adult patient population, specializing in the management of complex and chronic medical conditions to ensure sustained health and wellness.

Provide comprehensive medical services to patients within your assigned clinical area, ensuring a patient-centered approach and adherence to safety standards.

Conduct thorough physical examinations and clinical evaluations to accurately diagnose a wide range of medical conditions.

About the Practice: Onsite Lab; Medicare Wellness RN onsite part time; Serves a diverse, patient population from Hamilton and Marion counties; Integrated referral network; Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
