Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients.
  • Diagnose and manage common internal medicine conditions.
  • Perform and interpret clinical assessments and coordinate care.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, EKGs, pulmonary function tests as applicable).
  • Provide health maintenance services including annual physicals, screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists, hospital teams, and ancillary services to ensure continuity and timely follow-up.
  • Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support patient education and shared decision-making to improve understanding, adherence, and self-management.

Job description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for adult patients in an outpatient primary care setting (and/or inpatient coverage depending on the practice model). The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based medicine, strong continuity of care, and collaborative teamwork to improve outcomes for patients with complex and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management
  • Diagnose and manage common internal medicine conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, COPD/asthma, kidney disease, thyroid disorders, and mental health concerns
  • Perform and interpret clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate longitudinal care
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, EKGs, pulmonary function tests as applicable)
  • Provide health maintenance services including annual physicals, screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists, hospital teams, and ancillary services to ensure continuity and timely follow-up

  • Team-based environment with support from nurses, MAs, care coordinators, and APPs (NP/PA)
