Ascension is seeking a physician to join the AMG MDVIP Carmel Primary Care practice in Carmel, IN. This outpatient role offers an employed position within a respected health system, with extended visit times and a proactive, patient-centered approach.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 24/7 call structure that can be shared. Board eligibility/certification in Internal or Family Medicine is expected, Indiana licensure required.

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board prior to hire or transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support required or preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Responsabilités

• Outpatient practice with existing patient panel.
• 24/7 call structure with potential sharing; minimal call volume.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; no hospital duties.
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system; collaborate with Ascension network.

• Join an established practice with an existing patient panel
• Call structure: 24/7 with the possibility of sharing with another physician, minimal call volume

• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Deliver Personalized, High-Touch Care : Utilize extended appointment times (30 to 60 minutes) to conduct thorough wellness exams and acute care visits
• Champion a Proactive Wellness Model: Lead a membership-based clinical approach that shifts the focus from reactive "sick care" to proactive health management, helping patients optimize their well-being through personalized, comprehensive care plans
• Maintain a Manageable, High-Quality Practice: Manage a small, sustainable patient panel (cap of 300-600 total), allowing you to provide exceptional continuity of care while enjoying a balanced lifestyle that honors your time and professional boundaries

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
