Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited program.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
• PGY2 residency in Internal Medicine or related acute-care specialty preferred.
• Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in New York State.
• Board certification in a relevant area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver didactic, laboratory, and experiential instruction in pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacy practice.
• Contribute expertise across pharmacotherapeutic content areas including acute-care specialties.
• Develop, assess, and improve course materials to ACPE standards.
• Facilitate active learning and case-based instruction in both in-person and online settings.
• Precept and mentor Pharm.D. students during IPPEs and APPEs.
