D’Youville University in Buffalo, NY invites applications for a faculty appointment to coordinate and deliver instruction across the PharmD curriculum, with emphasis on internal medicine, acute care, and evidence-based pharmacotherapy in both traditional and online pathways.

The successful candidate will maintain an active clinical practice in acute care, precept Doctor of Pharmacy students during IPPE and APPE, and contribute to scholarly activity and service.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited program.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
• PGY2 residency in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, or other relevant specialty preferred.
• Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in New York State.
• Board certification in a relevant area of pharmacy practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver didactic, laboratory, and experiential instruction across the Pharm.D. curriculum with emphasis on internal medicine and acute care.
• Contribute expertise across pharmacotherapeutic content areas.
• Develop, assess, and improve course materials in line with ACPE standards.
• Facilitate active learning and case-based instruction in-person and online.
• Precept and mentor Pharm.D. students during IPPE and APPE.
