D'Youville University in Buffalo, NY seeks a faculty member to coordinate and deliver instruction across the Pharm.D. curriculum, specializing in internal medicine and acute-care pharmacotherapy. The role includes maintaining a clinical practice and precepting students in IPPEs and APPEs.
The candidate will collaborate with the interprofessional team, develop innovative teaching methods, and contribute to clinical pharmacy services at affiliated sites. NY licensure and ACPE standards apply.
The primary responsibility of this faculty member is to coordinate and deliver instruction throughout the School's pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacy practice curriculum, with a focus on internal medicine, acute care, and evidence-based pharmacotherapy in both the traditional and online pathways. Candidates with expertise in internal medicine or related specialties, including critical care, infectious diseases, cardiology, emergency medicine, or other acute-care practice areas, are encouraged to apply. Additional teaching assignments may be designated at the discretion of the Chair of Pharmacy Practice.
The faculty member will maintain an active clinical practice in an inpatient or other acute-care setting that supports direct patient care, interprofessional collaboration, and the education of pharmacy students. The individual will serve as a preceptor for Doctor of Pharmacy students in both Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs), fostering the development of clinical reasoning, evidence-based decision making, patient-centered care, and professional competencies.

Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and qualifications.
