ProHealth Partners in Long Beach is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision, focusing on acute and chronic internal medicine. This part-time, direct-hire role requires hands-on clinical skills and teamwork to support a busy multi-specialty practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Physician's Assistant Program with 2+ years of experience.
• Background in using nutraceuticals/supplements.
• DEA License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS).

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician, with a focus on both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform physical examinations, medical histories, and ongoing assessments for patients with a variety of internal medicine concerns.
• Develop, manage, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modification, and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals, specialty consultations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, screenings) relevant to internal medicine and age-specific patient needs.
