Job summary

CivicMinds, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Family/Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established internal medicine practice in Texas.

You will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team. Responsibilities include assessing patients, managing acute/chronic conditions, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with the team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing and FNP certification.
• Active state licensure as NP or PA.
• DEA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in adults.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
• Prescribe medications and create individualized treatment plans.
• Perform minor procedures as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and health maintenance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
